Festivals and Events can stimulate tourism and economic development while creating community pride in what makes a place unique and special. The Festival and Event Management online course provides education for event organizers, volunteers, and staff.

This unique program is offered twice per year and is delivered online over a six-week period, making it convenient for busy staff and volunteers. The course offers essential management education and practical tools for managing events while considering ways to nurture the community spirit that festivals and events can create. Six Continuing Education Credits (CEUs) are available to students who complete the full course.

Each week of the course focuses on an important part of festival and event management and is taught by a professional with expertise and experience in the section they are teaching.

After the six-week course, a Timely Topic is offered to extend students’ learning. The Timely Topic provide students with real-world guidance and insight about an issue facing today’s festival and event managers, staff, and volunteers.

Register for the six-week course (Timely Topic included) by February 15, 2019 and save! $499 for individuals; $749 for two persons from the same organization; $949 for three persons from the same organization. $599 per person after February 15.
